Haunted Houses

Q: What sizes do these Haunted Houses come in?
A:  Every Haunted House we build can either be customized to the size you need or you can choose from a variety of sizes ranging in a single room design (approximately 200 square feet) up to 6000 square feet and even larger.


Q: What does it cost?

A: Like before, since they range in size the prices do as well.  The most affordable will obviously be the smallest but by no means “cheap looking”.  We take pride in our work and we aren’t happy unless you’re happy.  For a 600 square foot Haunted House the with a façade will usual start around $9,000 and will include everything you need to operate.  The larger shows 4000-6000 square feet start around $80,000 and up.


Q: Can you just design and/or build me a Façade?

A: Yes.  You tell us what you want and we’ll do it. 
   

Q: What does a standard Haunted House come with?

A: All Haunted Houses we construct will come with all required safety equipment (fire retardant, fire extinguishers, flame retardant costumes) masks, props, sets, com units, lighting and sound.  We also include “Themes” and marketing materials for advertising.  For an additional charge we can make you a commercial! 

Q: How long can I use the Theme or marketing materials?

A: As long as you want, it’s yours.


Q: What are the benefits of Custom Designs?

A: Custom Designs allow you to get exactly the size, theme and design you need for your space.  Not all Haunted Houses are the same and we strive to make it easy for you to find what fits you best instead of us telling you what you will have to get.


Q: Can the “Themes” by mixed between Haunted Houses?

A: If that’s what you want then “YES”.  We recommend that you select themes that do match but if you want to mix it all up then that’s your choice.


Q: Does Custom Designing cost me a lot more?

A: Not really, we don’t charge by the hour for designs, we charge a flat rate based on the size of the Custom Haunted House we are designing.
 

Q: What about Custom Masks and Costumes?

A: We can design custom masks and costumes but this will cost more.  Many of the masks and costumes we use in our Haunted Houses are unique.  We try our best to give you the lowest prices possible in the industry but sometimes we can only do so much.  We will always provide you with numerous options and put no pressure on you in deciding what’s best for your Haunted House.


Q: Are your Haunted Houses “Satanic”?

A: NO!  We do not put any references to the occult, witches, witchcraft, devils, demons or Satan.  There are some “Themes” that do have a more graphic nature to them but do not reflect anything previously listed.


Q: Are any of your Haunted Houses “Kid friendly”?

A: Absolutely, we even have Haunted House designs just for the kids.


Q: I don’t have a place to put it, how do I pick a location?

A: You need to find a large field, empty building or parking lot in a “High Traffic” area, the more people that pass by your Haunted House the better.  If you live in low populated area you may consider locating your Haunted House closer to a large city.  Remember, no matter how great the location is you always need to advertise!


Q: I’ve seen other Haunted Houses come and go, how do I make it in this business?

A: Think of it as a business.  Many people that get into Haunted Houses expect to become rich the first year.  Don’t plan on seeing a return on your investment for at least 3-5 years.  Think of it this way, your Haunted House is only open for basically one month out of the year.  After 3 years that’s only being open for 3 months.  As long as you stay in the same “good location” and advertise every year you should see a profit around year 5.  Of course there is no guarantee in any business venture and that’s why we caution people to truly think about their purchase.


Q: I don’t know the first thing about running a Haunted House, can you teach me?

A: We are not only designers and builders but also Operations Specialists with years of Haunted House Operations.  We can either operate your Haunted House for you or we can train you to efficiently run your own Haunted House.  Many Haunted Houses fail because of poor management; with our training you can be a seasoned Haunter in no time.


Q: What if I don’t have you operate my Haunted House and I have problems?

A: We won’t abandon you.  We want you to be successful so if you have any problems feel free to call us and we will do everything we can to help you through it.


Q: Can I change my “Theme” after I’ve had my Haunted House for a while?

A: Sure, we will be happy to RE-VAMP your Haunted House, even if it’s not one you purchased from us.  We recommend that Haunted Houses change there “Themes” or “Designs” yearly to keep the old customers coming back and attracting new customers.  We know that this may not be economically feasible for some and that’s why in our “Design” phase we make it to where at least the room order can be switched allowing for a different look each year.


Q: If I buy a smaller size Haunted House can I add on to it later?

A: Of course.  Our standard Haunted Houses are designed to be able to be linked together to make one HUGE Haunted House.  But even if you have a custom Haunted House it’s no problem.
